What To BringStudents should come to school well rested and prepared to do their very best.
Students will have a designated snack time each day. Please make sure your child has a quick, easy to eat snack with spoons/forks included. A specialist list is provided so that you can help your student ensure that they have media books/sneakers/assignments prepared for the day. On Fridays, students are encouraged to bring in a "healthy snack" this is optional and not required. Over the years students have enjoyed this opportunity to share and talk about some of their healthy snacks with their peers. |

Class blog
Our class blog is a fun and active place for students to share questions, responses, book reviews, and much more with our class. It is a great way for all students in our class to have a voice. Your student will receive their blog information in the fall. They will receive a username and password for them to use. In order to participate, students must have their permission slips signed by a guardian. The site is password protected, and only open to members of our classroom. First and last names will not be used on the blog to help students begin to understand how to be a responsible digital citizenship.
As part of a students' homework, they should be an active member of our class blog. Students are asked to respond at least 2 times per week. Students may choose which days they would like to long into the blog. Many students may choose to respond or go onto the blog more.
There is a link in our "Classroom Resources" section of this site.

makeup workWhen students are sick, or away from school there will be a designated folder with any missing work upon their return.
If vacations or days out of school are planned during school days, please understand that some materials may not be available before hand, and new concepts must be taught prior to work being sent home. I will do my best to get any work to your students prior to the absence. Please understand that I am very flexible with due dates. I always want to give students the opportunity to put in their best effort. |
